The light bulb is pre-mounted but can be replaced when needed. Available as a spare part. For more information, contact IKEA customer services at your IKEA store or IKEA.com.
Light color: warm white (2700 Kelvin).
The light source has a lifetime of approx. 25,000 hours. This corresponds to about 20 years if the lamp is on for 3 hours per day.
The lamp emits 220 lumen, which is approximately equal to the light emitted by a 22-watt incandescent bulb.

I love how flexible, space-saving, clean and minimalist in design they are -- they truly just blend in. I also love that they give off a lot of light. The plants on my bedside tables like them as supplemental lighting, and the basil in my kitchen has grown from seed just w/this light. They were incredibly quick and easy to assemble, too.
