Review: I prefer the blacker look, the softer handles and the non-stick surface to that of the original, which I have used for over 11 years. Unfortunately, the designer retained the same-sized knob in the center of the glass lid: it is too small for the weight of the glass. The other caveat is in the suggested use of only plastic or wooden tools so as to preserve the non-stick coating. Implication: don't use metal tools. Duh. What should be said: Use SILICONE tools for the best result in preventing scratches and extending the life of the coating. Duh! I got hundreds of uses with the original version of this (wok-ish) pan with NO degradation to the surface (by using silicone tools exclusively). It is just now beginning to show signs of wear. I can still use it as a secondary pan with complex preparations. I cannot comment on the longevity of this new pan as I have only used it a few times so far. I expect at least a decade of heavy use, based on using silicone tools and lowering the heat used to cook whenever applicable. I am enthused.

Review: The lid broke immediately I washed and lightly placed the lid on counter and the lid broke. the wok is great but the lid is too sensitive to be used I would not recommend this product it should be taken off the shelves and not sold or the lid needless to be replace with a lid that is sturdier
