However, I don't want to leave it outside year-round but I can't for the life of me figure out how to disassemble it. The ring has been impossible for me to pull apart even with rubber gloves on for grip. How am I supposed to store this thing?

Review: I ordered this in store - had to pay for shipping (which is annoying as a Family Member Ikea should give free shipping). It arrived in a week. It's huge and easily covers my daughter's full bed. The issue is my cat loves it so much. He climbs up it... Spends hours playing... Has ripped holes. 3 stars because of shipping and the string it comes with to tie it up is kind of ugly.

Review: I bought 3 of these Two for my daughter's rooms and one for outside. The one for outside of course gets more wear. Our daughter's have a queen and a full bed and these fit perfectly. The one outside is used so that we can read on a hammock and it is so relaxing. Keeps bugs out and lets the air flow. The only thing is when I go to take them down because the ring got twisted it was hard to find the the part where to break it apart. The next time we put it up we marked it with a sharpie and it's not an issue.
