It’s easy to keep cords and cables out of sight but close at hand with the cable outlet at the back.
You can mount the legs to the right or left, according to your space or preference.
Drawer stops prevent the drawers from being pulled out too far.
Can be placed anywhere in the room because the back is finished.
You can extend your work surface by combining desks and drawer units. All desks and drawer units in the MICKE series are the same height.

It look fantastic and the little drawer is great for keeping notebooks, computer accessories, recording equipment - - - etc from cluttering your office appearance. Wish they could make it so the porthole could be placed on either side. That could easily be done by finishing both sides of the desktop.
Main gripe is part of the assembly process. When putting the drawer together there's a step that requires hammering a long bolt into the wood to connect two pieces. It's too easy to get that crooked and deform the wood on the other side. Fortunately it's the back of the interior of the drawer, so not visible, but may cause issues if you need to put a tray or something in there that needs to be flush with the back of the drawer.
