Review: I tried putting one of these around the bannister with the velcro but it didn't get much interest. But I bought them for replacing shredded cat tree twine, and they've worked out pretty well. I carefully removed the velcro with an xacto and used the least smelly wood glue I could find to attach cut pieces to the posts and wrapped it with leftover twine to dry. The cats still seem to prefer the stuff that falls apart quickly but it's getting used and looks nice. Next up is adding some to a slipcover for an old Tullsta chair they've ripped up. It's stiff but should work for certain sections around the arms. I've ordered them twice now, wish I could find an Ikea rug that's this same weight and weave for covering all our old manky trees.

Review: I love this scratching pad. Before my morning kibble I do a little cat stretch on it. Throughout the day I'll do a little scratch here and there and in the evening a rambunctious exercise on it. The design is great in my 120sq ft home. My preferred way is to leave it flat on the floor, but I also love the option to wrap it around a post. It's my go to scratch pad.

Review: This is a simple, elegant way to refresh an old scratching post. So much easier than trying to re-wrap it with 50+ feet of scratchy sisal rope. This pad is quite narrow and only covers three sides of a 4x4 post, but that's fine since the cats don't scratch on the side facing the wall anyway. Knocking off a star because they aren't as instantly drawn to it as with sisal rope, but hoping they'll take to it soon enough.
