You can easily turn the umbrella to shade different areas since it can be rotated 360 degrees.
Tilt function provides protection from the sun all day long.
The air vent reduces wind pressure and allows heat to circulate.
The crank makes it easy to open and close the umbrella.
With a light, passing rain shower, you can stay and relax under the umbrella since the canopy repels water.

CareThe best way to extend the life of your umbrella is by cleaning it regularly, protecting it with a cover whenever not in use and storing it in a cool, dry place indoors when the season is over.

To clean the fabric, fold down the umbrella and wipe it with a soft cloth dampened in water. For heavily soiled areas, scrub with a sponge soaked in mild detergent and rinse with cold water.

Review: The metal base rusted terribly in 6 months. It is hidden under the plastic base so we didn't notice it until we moved the location. We discovered this just past the 180 day warranty and Ikea won't do anything about it. They do not sell the metal base separately. Very disappointed.

Review: This umbrella is much easier to operate than the OXNO, which it has replaced on our patio. It seems to be pretty durable and sturdy. It sits in the path of some fairly strong breezes and we haven't had any problems. We close it up it when winds higher than 10-15mph are expected because it sits on a rolling base and we don't want to risk it traveling.
This is the third generation of Ikea cantilever umbrella we've owned, and definitely the best (though most expensive).

Review: This is my second umbrella, and it broke the same exact way as the first one broke. Out of nowhere one of the arms falls down and screws are on the ground. It’s very difficult for me to even attempt to fix it and IKEA won’t take the umbrella back for a replacement. For both umbrellas with tax I spent about $500, I wish I bought my umbrella somewhere else. Expensive for the quality for this umbrella but again as I mentioned in the title it is a beautiful umbrella.

Review: The umbrella is a good quality and easy to use. Mechanism to open is easy to use. This is our second umbrella. We had the base and could use it again but the metal sleeve at the base that is screed in was not the same and was disappointing to have to change it. We would like the fabric part to be replaceable as currently it is a waste of metal and structure when all you need is the fabric replacement.
Price wise this is well priced for the size and quality. We are enjoying having it back in working order.

Review: I love that it can move 360 degrees and tilt and the size. However, several of the holes do not line up so the peg doesn't fit which means that a number of the positions aren't available for us to use which kind of defeats the purpose of getting a 360 degree umbrella.

Review: I’ve owned this umbrella for 3 years and I love that I’m able to tilt it. The crank makes it easy to put up and take down. However after a cross country move and 9 months of storage, the canopy has torn and is covered in mold and needs to be replaced but I can’t simply replace the canopy. A whole new umbrella needs to be purchased.
