Review: I went to an IKEA and got this lamp from the warehouse. The light bulb wasn’t included like it said but not a big deal I just went down to Target and got an LED bulb one that fit all kinds of watts because the packaging didn’t say and it worked! The light it brought to my bedroom is just what I needed! Only thing I have to take a star away for is the cord. My lamp sits right behind my massive love sac and the outlet isn’t controlled by a switch so every time I want to turn on the lamp I have to plop onto my love sac and reach down to switch it on. I can’t even use a extension cord because the switch is so close to the base so it won’t do anything. Besides this great lamp and great price! I don’t regret this purchase at all! Also super easy to put together. I’m challenged when it comes to assembling IKEA stuff and this was simple took minutes.

Review: Assembly: 4/5 stars. Once you assemble it, then it looks great. Nice and heavy and it really is a nice looking lamp. It is pretty obvious what you need to do to assemble it. It can just be a little awkward to assemble but nothing groundbreaking.The screwing was a little tight in hindsight. You really have to make sure you keep the stems straight otherwise it won't screw. And the tightness is where my trouble began. Disassembly: Here I was trying to disassemble this lamp so I can repack it and eventually tetris my little toyota corolla for a move. However, I never even got to the packing. I tried to unscrew the bottom portion with no luck. Eventually I got it to turn when I heard Gandalf the Grey preaching to me, YOU SHALL NOT PASS. Indeed I didn't pass. Because when the stems started to unscrew I heard metal bits crackling within the threading. 30 minutes of screwing and unscrewing got me probably half a rotation of both the middle and bottom stem to unscrew. My hands and the floor now has quite a bit of metal shavings. My body sweating from from the high intensity workout I had just done from a $50 dollar ikea lamp. 5/5 better than planet fitness.
