A terry towel in medium thickness that is soft and highly absorbent (weight 500 g/m²).

The towel will reach full absorbency after one washing.
Fabric softener may decrease the towel absorbency.
Grams per square meter (g/m2) indicates the surface density of the fabric. The higher the surface density the more absorbent the towel. A towel with a lower surface density dries faster.
May be combined with a shower curtain or bathroom mat from the same series

Machine wash warm (max 140°F/60°C) normal cycle.
Do not bleach.
Tumble dry, medium, normal cycle.
Iron medium temperature, max 300°F/150°C.

Review: The bath sheet is a differently shape towel than I have had before. It doesn’t fit on my towel rack unless folded in two. It has the same loop I love for hanging in hooks. This is especially nice when camping. I like that it is quick drying.

Review: These towels are described as mid-weight but they are very thick and heavy and not absorbent. I wanted a lightweight, all cotton towel that would dry quickly and not be a breeding ground for bacteria. I bought the Kornan towels last year and they aren't bad though one unravelled immediately. But they were better than these towels. However, they are not available anymore. Does IKEA make a lightweight, all cotton, Northern European style towel? I am going to return these Salviken towels if I can.

Review: This towel is better than expected. I am petite and so are my hands therefore I have trouble with long, big, thick towels. This towel addresses all of my issues because it is thinner than most of my other towels but still absorbent. It is long enough to wrap but since it is not really thick it is easy to manage. I think there would be more value in a set so I will watch for that and then start replacing what I have.
