Review: IKEA designs a lot of things that are hit or miss, and this is a hit. I am hard pressed to find anything better. It's comfortable, the pump is strong, it comes in two different colors, the adjustable mechanism is great. It feels durable. Only bad thing I can say is it's a little heavy and the metal can stub a toe.

Review: I bought this stool for my sewing desk, which is a bit higher up than most desks. I needed a seat that could adjust a little bit higher. The stool encourages good posture and active sitting which is great for your back. The quality is great and it's not too expensive.
And it's so simple to put together. Maybe my favorite IKEA purchase to date!

Review: I have bought so many office chairs/stools, over the years, and none of them have worked out (even ones with waterfall edges.) This stool was a little pricier than I wanted to pay but it is a godsend and it has an unheard of 10 year warranty! This is the only stool I can sit on for extended periods of time without it giving me back or nerve pain (which I get from every other chair/stool.) I use this at the adjustable desk (I also bought from Ikea), my sofa table, my kitchen counter, etc. My only wish is that it came in different cushion colors. If it did, I would buy multiples!

Review: For whatever reason, I have never been able to find an office/desk chair that worked for me. Usually, they don't go high enough for the desk I am at, or the seat puts too much pressure on the back of my thighs, etc. So, when I decided to renovate my home offfice (I work remotely, now) I did two important things: I purchased IKEA's adjustable standup desk and I bought this chair. AWESOME!
This chair works for whatever height and position I feel like working in at the moment—and adjusting takes just a second. The actual seat that tips with your weight is brilliant and so simple.

Review: These stools seem to be a heftier build than many things offered at IKEA. I'm concerned about the long term survival of the lift mechanism as it seems to adjust a bit after sitting a while. It sort of 'sighs'. IKEA, please address the ridiculous labels hanging from you stuff. It will take me longer to cleanly remove them from the seat cover than it did to assemble the stool
