According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover's ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 20,000 cycles. A cover that withstands 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture that should withstand everyday use in the home. -

Review: After seeing 2 family members IKEA Uppland sofas, I decided to purchase a loveseat. I am satisfied with most of the item except the 2 sofa cushions. They come vacuumed packed and seem to have a few large creases on the cushion surface that have still not expanded after 3 weeks. They do not look good at all. I've called the customer resolution number and was advised since I purchased at a store, I must return or exchange in person. Had I purchased on line and had the loveseat delivered, she could have assisted me. I explained the travel to and from is over 2 hours. Still, she understood but could not help. There is NO WAY to speak with a customer service representative at the store as there is no telephone or email contact. To resolve this, per online representative, I must drive another 2 plus hours with hopes to get new cushion replacements or refund(by returning entire loveseat).Very frustrated.

Review: I really like this sofa. I'm elderly, and when I stand up from sitting in it, it feels like the sofa is assisting me, there's a kind of bounce to it. My knees really appreciate that! It's very comfortable to sit in, and everything (the back, the arm rests, the width) is the perfect length. I had it delivered, because I couldn't lift the box, but they delivered it quickly and I assembled it myself. It was very easy to assemble.

Review: I have owned--and LOVED--my Ektorp couch (now, I think, called Upland) for nearly 20 years. I have three covers: gray, white, and beige. The covers wash like a dream and never lose their shape; and the cushions are as firm and comfy as they were when I bought my couch. Just about the greatest Ikea purchase I've ever made! Keep making them, please!

Review: We have an Uppland sofa that we like and bought the loveseat. Unfortunately when we opened up the box it had mold in it and on the loveseat pieces. Had to spray the whole thing down with bleach. Hoping that will take care of the problem because it took months for our store to have the loveseat in stock and would most likely take months to replace.

Review: “Loveseat” is the appropriate term! I love this piece. My first time order from IKEA and I couldn’t be happier. Was super impressed with the packaging and assembly was ridiculously easy—basically 8 screws and bolts that fit exactly where they were suppose to. The hardest part was ironing the cover and stuffing the cushions and pillows into their cases. Piece is great looking and very comfortable. Totally love it!

Review: Replaced a 15+ yr old Uppland with a new version. Great improvement to add non-slip material to area where cushions rest. My one issue is that one of the seat cushions has a pronounced crease from packaging that has not sprung back in the month since I've owned. It should be replaced as is clearly not how it should be new.

Review: I had an Ektorp loveseat and it wore well for more than 15 years. But the back cushions were saggy and the seat cushions were compacted, so time for a new loveseat. I have cats and a dog who share the furniture with me and, well, accidents happen. I love Ikea furniture because when disaster strikes, I can wash the covers. This loveseat is super comfy. I don't know if it will hold up as well as my old one did, but I'm hopeful. I have a couple of sets of covers from my old Ektorp that I hope will fit this new sofa, since they look almost identical. We'll see.
