The lid has a glass window that allows you to monitor the contents of the pot during the cooking process.

The entire pan, including the base and sides, has one layer of aluminum between two layers of stainless steel. This distributes heat evenly and energy efficiently from several directions and makes it easy to regulate.
The pan has extra thick walls and base, which distribute the heat evenly.
The graduated interior makes it easy to measure liquid directly in the pan.
You can cook food on a low heat and save energy, because the stainless steel in the pan absorbs heat well and retains it for a long time.

Review: I needed a small saucepan for my induction cooktop and this one fit the bill. It’s nicely made, feels good and works well. It’s not non-stick but it cleans up easily like any stainless steel pan should. The glass window in the lid is pointless because it’s obscured by steam/condensation while pan is in use. It’s easier to just lift the lid.
Overall excellent value for money. I wish there were more than 5-6 items in this Sensuell line.

Review: Have used this sauce pan as well as the full set of Sensuell pans for about a month. Heavy, heat quickly on my gas range, and clean up is a simple soak and wipe out with synthetic sponge, sometimes a little baking soda if there’s a cloudy stain. Handle is cool mid-way to the end and I appreciate the grip. I think these pans will last me a long time.

Review: I have used the pan for over a month. Be sure to read the instruction booklet that comes with the pan. I don't find the handle getting too hot. So far food does not stick to the pan. As the instruction booklet indicates I do wipe the pan dry after washing which I don't do on other pans. I use medium heat. I tend to let pans soak before washing if there is food such as mashed potatoes, sauces that might stick-makes it easier. I follow the instructions and have had no problems. I only placed it in the over to keep food that I cooked warm and had no problem. I think if one follows the advice of the instruction booklet the pan will last-I hope so...
