Review: This amount of frozen food just dumped in a large unresealable plastic bag? Very strange. The packaging is just wrong. I opened the bag to check it out and it's just this big frozen random quantity of what looks like cat food. I did use some, in a spaghetti sauce to disguise its appearance, and it tastes fine. so I dumped the rest into a freezer container and stuck it back in my freezer. It's really not bad tasting. I probably would use it next in a soup. Maybe a veggie loaf aka meat loaf.

However, because it's pre-seasoned, the existing flavors pushed through any seasonings I added myself, so any food I make with this mince ends up tasting the same. The flavor is nice, but I'd love it if IKEA would sell a more neutral-flavored version that I could season myself, based on what dish I'm cooking.

Review: I love IKEA's plant balls but one time they run out, so I ended up buying this alternative, thinking it would be somehow similar (since they are both made of pea protein). Very big mistake, honestly I tried like 7 different recipes and each time I hated eating its taste. Also it is very sticky and oily, making it extremely hard to shape. Unfortunately, one of the worst meat-alternatives I tried in my life.
