Review: Love the way it looks but don't necessarily love the functionality. But that's my bad...the light that this replaced shone up toward the ceiling, lighting the entire room. This one focuses all the light downward, and since the shade is opaque no light emits above the bottom at all. So my dining room table is brightly lit but the room itself appears dark.
