Review: Boaxel shelving is OK, bought over Closet Maid and Container Store. Other 2 systems insisted I use the in store (or on line service) to lead product. We have an odd layout and room needed custom application. Were able to modify Ikea product to fit room. Your product is a little difficult to assemble but once I devised a template it became user friendly. Do wish you had more sizes available for verticals. Most disappointed that “supply chain issues” interfered, I had to go back and forth to Newark & Paramus. In both locations associates were helpful .

Review: Boaxel seems to have replaced the Algot closet shelving system. While it appears that Boaxel is pretty good it is not appear as sturdy as the Algot system, nor does it seem to have the same selection of items and accessories. It is still a better closet system than many competitors, just not as good as the Algot used to be.

Review: I placed an order and was sent a followup email that some items were now out of stock and I was receiving a refund. I didn't know at the time that those items were the two that I needed to attach everything to. Meaning, I cannot build my closet system until those two pieces come back in stock (which still hasn't happened, 2 months later). I have my entire closet system sitting on the floor in my room, taking up space. I am beyond frustrated. And shipping cost was outrageous.

Review: We purchased the components to organize our daughter’s closet. The end result was lovely. But it was more difficult to plan & assemble than originally anticipated. Also, some of the brackets did not fit into the rail, we had to mallet them into place. I did not use the online planning tool, so maybe that would have been helpful? I did not realize the brackets are double sided so you can use both sides to attach to a shelf or hanging rod. Therefore if I want to create a single shelf across , I have a gap between shelves.

Review: Installed the new BOAXEL in a laundry closet, which worked fine for the space. Shelf seems flimsy compared to AGLOT and only comes in two sizes, ALGOT came in many more sizes and was just overall a much better system. I would describe BOAXEL as very builder grade and cheap, I would definitely not use it in an actual closet for clothing, OK for laundry or basement if it only needs to support lighter items.

Review: The way the system has to be put together tho not impossible it is difficult.....especially if you need to use wall anchors. It is necessary to place the shelves top and bottom to properly align the vertical rails. Then you mark where your wall anchors are to be placed and then take it all down to install the anchors. We were very careful and tried to be very precise.....yes we made sure all was plumb and we still had issues getting the shelves to fit. I had planned on using this in another space, but after this experience I'll be looking for something else.

Review title: Beware Max Screw Head 9/32

Review: I put these shelves on a concrete block wall of my garage, so I used Tapcons. Beware that the screws sit in a 9/32 wide channel in these rails, so the head of the smallest 3/16 Tapcons doesn't quite fit. I had to waller out the sides with a drill. Also the instructions say to use round head/flat base screws but I used flat head/tapered base screws because they fit better in the channel. Still a good product and good value for money.

Review title: Easy to install this flexible closet system

Review: I just installed two sets of mounting rails and uprights with clothes rods and a shelf in my child's closet. Much like Ikea's kitchen cabinet system, the installation is ingenious since it all hangs from the mounting rail which is easy to level and install. Be aware though that you do need to purchase your own wood screws as they are not included. The shorter suspension rail requires 4 counterhead flat top screws with a top of 1/4 (7mm), and each short upright takes 4 rounded top screws with a top of 5/16 (8mm). I found it best to use a drill to make pilot holes in the top rail before screwing it tight. On the website Ikea suggests that before you mount the uprights you install brackets and a shelf or clothes rail at the top and bottom so you can make sure everything is square and will fit later and that was simple and helpful. After doing that, I drilled pilot holes through the 4 spots on each upright and then installed the screws. It took about 45 minutes to install the main rail, uprights, clothes rail and shelf. It's helpful to have a rubber mallet to put in or take out each bracket as they fit very tight. And the shelf installation is a bit tricky -- you need to raise the front and come down at an angle to engage the hooks on both rears, then make sure the front hooks go in properly. The shelves don't seem to be super sturdy, but I mainly wanted the system for two clothes rails and this Ikea system is a great value and provides flexibility to change in the future.
