This 4-seat table can easily be extended into a 6-seat table using the included self-storing leaf.
The self-storing leaf is easy to insert to extend the table and just as easy to remove and tuck away under the table top when your guests have gone home.
The black table has a hardwood veneer top layer that is both stained and lacquered for durability and to allow the natural wooden texture to shine through.
Legs and underframe are made of sturdy, solid hardwood.

Review: I love this table! We don't have a big dining area, but I needed something that would easily fit my family of 5 while still having the flexibility to have more room for guests, or for the occasional multi-day puzzle. I love that I can easily extend or collapse it without disturbing the top of the table and store the leaf in the table. I also love that there are no cracks in the middle of the table to catch crumbs. After nearly a year there are definitely some minor signs of wear from my kids coloring and accidentally digging pencils into the surface, creating dents. But overall it has held up surprisingly well.
I did purchase the table in person and was considering the white, but the surface of the white is very different from the black. The black has nice faux wood grain in the top, the white is just plain flat. I can't imagine how scratched up the white would look at this point. The wood grain at least somewhat hides the wear and tear from my kids.

Needed to remove the sliders which meant removing a side of the table because the sliders had been installed backwards at the factory. Leaf finally fit only to find the lock had been installed backwards at the factory as well. Took almost two hours to put into working order, but now it's great.

Review: We got this table to replace a round table that took up way too much space in our dining room area. It's exactly what we're looking for! It has some nice touches on the legs so it doesn't look too plain and the slide out piece to create extra length will be amazing we need to expand for extra seating. Very easy to assemble-extra leaf sits inside table so that when you pull out the extension you take out the leaf and put it in place. You do have to wipe it down after use because it does show any marks pretty easily but not a big issue. We bought ikea chairs to with it so it gives you comfortable seating without taking up the whole room. Feels heavy (not cheap) too!
