Review: We got this in 2018. It's now 2022, used it for a year as our daily bed, near the end, it started to hurt whoever had the side that is the backrest. Now we have a normal bed, but still use this as our daily sofa. It has become a really disgusting mess. Even water stains it. A small child had a pee accident, and it never cleaned out. I tried mild detergent, water and a rag, then oxyclean, and then resorted to stain remover spray, NOTHING works. I now have a cheap and ill-fitting slipcover on it, and I just wish I had purchased something else. If Ikea offered slipcovers for this sofa, I would definitely purchase one. But they don't, so, be warned, if you have children or pets, or might accidentally spill anything on it, you will have a stain. I purchased a rust orange color.

Review: I needed this sofa for a small room, but also wanted the ability to host overnight guests, hence the sofa bed option. While it was not difficult to put together, the instructions were definitely lacking clarity. The picture drawings were confusing and could easily be misinterpreted.
The sofa portion is quite deep, so you'll need cushions for the back if you are not a particularly tall individual. The fabric can be a bit rough. I've used a throw over the armrests for a soft feel on my arms rather than the scratchy rough fabric's feel.
That said, it is quite easy to convert it to a twin bed, and I like that it has storage too.
Don't expect the cushion to be soft, it is a hard cushion. But, like I mentioned, this is only meant for occasional overnight guests.
