Review: I love the look and feel of this bookshelf. Really well made and the wood feels very sturdy. The only thing i recommend is label two white front wood frames for top and bottom. Didn't realize there was one screw hole for top wood piece and had to end up taking the pieces apart to swap it.

Review: Sides are not solid pieces and are starting to bow. When this happens the pegs that support the shelves aren't long enough and the shelves collapse. I wish I had paid more attention to the negative reviews. Very disappointed in the quality of this product.

Review: I have a ton of books! I purchased 3 of these to house my library overflow. They are extremely wibbly-wobbly, and must be anchored to the wall (which IKEA does recommend). I confirmed with TWO different Customer Service reps that each shelf can hold 65 lbs. That's a laugh! While I filled each bookcase completely with books, the contents of each shelf certainly did not equal 65 lbs. Everything was fine, until my hefty, accident-prone Maine Coon decided to jump on one of the shelves. All shelves fell off their pegs. Thank goodness the bookcase was attached to the wall -- Otherwise, I could have lost my beloved kitty!!! I've just purchased four 2-inch steel corner brackets to install on each shelf. It's really annoying that I must do this! I specifically selected these bookshelves, as they are so pretty and they are REAL pine! I refuse to buy particle board or engineered wood. YUCK! But, please, IKEA, please provide the proper hardware so these shelves are not so rickety and dangerous!!

Review: I had already assembled three of these bookcases in white. They are sturdy and handsome, but the white paint is translucent, like a thin primer rather than a finish coat. That finish is an asset in this grey bookcase, which is beautiful. Easy to assemble- I recommend the bookcase is evenly propped up on both sides when attaching the top so the holes all line up. The solid wood is really nice. These bookcases hold tons of stuff in my craft room.

Review: Really nice shelves, especially paired with the glass doors. The setup for connecting multiple units is very nice and sturdy. I installed three in a row but for the last one at the end, I can’t seem to adjust the doors to be even and square. I think perhaps my floor is a little uneven there so the bookcase is off-square, causing the doors to be crooked. The other two bookcases are perfect.

Just really tall and wide so you should make sure it fits in the door before assembling it.

I don’t think they’ll survive if I needed to disassemble and reassemble them in the future if I moved them. They’re more of a “permanent” install, given their large size, heavy weight and relative fragility regarding the connections. They’re rock steady when installed but the finish can be easily damaged if you were to uninstall or take the bookcase apart.

Review: I have bought a lot of ikea furniture and love it. It's always very durable and in kids rooms that's great. My daughter is a little older now so we were upgrading her room and she wanted this bookshelf for her books and pops. It went together fairly easily and looks nice and sturdy but she went to move it the other day (on tile floor, with some grout ridges) and a piece came out, which started to separatethe sides from each other. So we took care of that and fixed it and I tried to finish moving it over for her and another piece came loose. This is the first time ever I'm not overally happy with the way its done. My suggestion if you want this is put it together right where you want it and maybe don't move it in the future.

Review: This product should come with a warning label that it isn’t capable of holding books. Mine has collapsed in on itself twice, the back has buckled off and the shelf’s fallen in on each other. This is a pile of junk and unless you are buying it to put next to nothing on the shelf’s; is completely worthless as an actual bookshelf.
