This lamp has 3 different levels of light intensity that you can easily adjust as needed.

A light press with the foot is all that is needed to turn it on, turn it off and adjust the brightness since the switch is on the cord of the lamp.

Review: BUY IT!!! Buy it before it is gone forever. This is my most favorite floor lamp that I've ever owned. Assembly was 10 mins. I turned it around so the light faces the corner wall. Wow. It makes my apartment look so high end. I bought two but plan to go back for at least two more!
