The drawers are easy to open and spacious enough with room for toys, clothes and other gadgets that teenagers usually like to store on the floor.
Soft edges, recessed handles and just a few visible fittings make the bedframe safe and give it a clean design.
You can easily adapt the timeless look based on your taste and personal style by completing with different bed textiles, pillows and accessories.
The shelf section can be attached at the headboard or footboard of the bed.
If you need extra storage close at hand, you can hang MÖJLIGHET bed pocket over the headboard or footboard of the bed.
You can also use the bed as a room divider since the back is covered and lacquered in the same color as the rest of the frame.
If you have a thick rug, the drawers at the bottom are still easy to open since the bottom of the frame is slightly higher.

Review: This bed replaced a long-serving Kura low loft bed and a 4 drawer Malm dresser. Kid wanted low to the ground bed and a vanity, and the drawers in this bed hold even MORE than her Malm did! Sturdy, functional, definitely the best buy for someone who needs a bed and dresser. The rear storage area is great too for stashing things she wants to keep long term but doesn't need to see every day, like some beloved childhood toys. Review: This was my first ever IKEA purchase, purchased the bed for my 3 year old. At the time of purchase the bed was $300 plus the max shipping of $69. The price was higher than comparable storage bed frames from other large chains but cheaper (even with shipping) than some local mattress/bed stores name brand versions. Overall the assembly took about 4 hours by myself (30 y/o M) and there were only a few steps I thought really needed a second person (when securing some of the larger parts together) but mostly is fine to do with 1 person. The instructions were relatively easy to follow. I picked this in large part due to the partial fiberboard construction compared to all particleboard for cheaper options. I am very happy with the sturdiness of the overall bed. The drawers work perfectly, even on carpet. Only thing I would say is the bed is very tall so if purchased for a younger child you may need a step stool and a railing or bumper. Would definitely purchase again if we needed another.

Review: It fits a regular twin mattress just fine, you aren't restricted to just IKEA mattresses even though the measurements look like they're just a bit off. A bit disappointed that the drawers aren't soft-close. It looks beautiful, and I'm a big fan of the rounded corners with two rough-and-tumble boys. Time will tell how it holds up.

The holes were drilled on the wrong side of one of them, so we couldn't build it and had to return it. Very frustrating, since it was about 6 steps in that we figured this out! They were unable to mail us replacement boards since our local store (an hour and a half away) had none in stock.
