Though the liquid-well is on the intended-use side, this great cutting board is more beneficial to me upside down - allowing the raised edge to hook against side of the countertop, so it stays put as I use it! (Psst - check out the price, but don’t tell IKEA they could sell it for WAY more, tho!)

Review: I have been purchasing this item for the last 16 years. They save the counter from the random knife scratches. Unfortunately, the mineral oil necessary to preserve the board has not been available?
It might help if that item was located next to this item. We were sent on a goose chase by different employees who couldn't locate the item either. :(
