The blade of the knife has a ceramic non-stick coating. This makes the knife easy to clean and prevents food from sticking to the blade when cutting and chopping.

The handle has a synthetic rubber feature that provides a better grip and helps prevent the knife from slipping in your hand.

With the included knife block you have proper storage for your knives, since it protects the blade of the knife and keeps the edge sharper longer.

Review: IKEA reviews are almost always spot-on. This product however was a huge disappointment after reading all of the rave reviews. I understand you get what you pay for but IKEA also provides quality products at low prices so I was surprised to see how cheap this product is. The base is probably the worst part - it is cheap plastic. The knife blades are great but between the knife handles and base I wouldn't get this unless you were in college or a dorm looking for a super low budget option.
