Review title: Used as shower tile for non-slip flooring

Review: Being of a certain age, we are more cognizant of how dangerous a slip/fall can be. We have a large glass-surround shower and faux marble one-piece floor which is very slippery, especially with soap/conditioner, etc. I bought these tiles and have been very pleased at how they look and work. I'm so surprised that IKEA doesn't show pictures the use of these tiles for the floor in a shower/bath area! They've been down for over two years now and they work BEAUTFULLY. Water just drains right through! Our tile floor is not completely square, so we made a template from cardboard and used it to fit the tiles into. We had to use a sharp cutting tool for the tiles, but they're plastic and were not too difficult to cut - they put up a good bit of resistance, though so your hands can get pretty tired quickly. We also used a pair of industrial type garden shears (used for branch trimming) and those work pretty well. Excellent product!

Review: I purchased these tiles more than a year ago to go under an outdoor rug I had in the patio. These are pretty and withstood the elements of winter, including snow! It has kept my rug from molding because it allow the rain water to drain from underneath the rug. My outdoor rug still looks good and the tiles are in good condition. Some might have very minor warping but the rug seems to help with keeping its shape. I love these tiles and the price was the most affordable at the time I purchased them.

Review: It really transformed my balcony and made it more elevated. I did read some reviews before buying them and saw that they do buckle in the sun but I bought them anyway. I only get morning sun but they do in fact buckle in direct sunlight like a floor wave but then they go back to normal after in the shade. Its not a big issue for me but I don't recommend if your space is always in sunlight you will trip on your own flooring thats for sure.

Review: It’s very easy to assemble and looks great. Easy to wash. Doesn’t do well in the heat. It bubbles up in 70 degree weather but flattens out in cooler weather. It is low profile but doesn’t have a curved edge to lessen the tripping hazard.

Review: The tiles were a nice touch to my screened in porch. It lifted the furniture off the cement floor and the cut-out design provides a place for dirt and debris to fall through and not be tracked into the house. It is easy to use an air blower to push the crud underneath out. The design also looks nice but isn't overwhelming.

I made my tile purchases once through the shipping method and once through pick up. The first/shipping method caused damage/breakage to about 50% of the little triangle connector edge pieces. I was able to make it work for the most part and for the five or six tiles that didn't totally connect I will live with it as they don't come up enough to cause a tripping hazard but are just so ever slightly not flat and is noticeable when walked over and makes a tiny little noise as it pushes down. I was able to hide a few with my outdoor rug.

The second order I picked up and there were no damages to any of the triangular connectors. The next part of my project follows along with comments from previous raters. Cutting the tiles was challenging. Thank goodness we have power cutting tools. Needing to trim and make angled cuts on 36 tiles would have been quite the undertaking if it hadn't been for the power tools. It was time consuming to say the least. With trimming the tiles, I was able to get multiple edge pieces from one tile and now have a few spares if they are ever needed in the future. Bonus!

With the time invested, the purpose and how it turned out I am pleased and would make the purchase in store and do this again. It looks good and has received compliments.
