If you’re a side sleeper use the higher part of this ergonomic pillow and if you’re a back sleeper use the lower part. If you change positions often, turn it around and decide which side suits you best.
Not too hard, not too soft. This ergonomic pillow has a layer of soft foam and a layer of denser foam to give your head and neck snug comfort with just the right support.
The memory foam top layer molds to the contours of the body and relieves pressure at head, neck and shoulders. It provides good comfort regardless of the temperature in your room.

The soft fabric cover breathes and wicks away moisture.
The cover is easy to remove and machine-wash at 140°F (60°C). This keeps your pillow nice and fresh, and wards off unwanted dust mites.

I read that how much the sleeper weighs affects how long a mattress of this price range lasts, so note that this is from a 165 lb, tall female.
Also, the fact that it comes trussed up like a tootsie roll made it fit perfectly in the trunk of my compact car.

Review: I have bought the Rosenskarm for many years. I was in a car accident almost 20 years ago and need a contoured pillow to sleep. In addition, I have to change my pillow every 6 months. I has not mattered if I buy one that is 4 or 5 times as much money as The Rosenskarm I still need a new one every 6 months. I spent a lot of money on other pillows before I found The Rosenskarm and it gives me the same comfort level as the other at a fraction of the cost.

We had to buy new ones because our daughter moved out and she decided to get a new one for her apartment. She said that it is still comfortable as the one at home.
