Review: This is a great looking curtain rod, especially considering the cost. What takes away from it is the insanely strong glue of the product sticker at the end of the rod. There is no reason it needs to be that hard to remove. There is no reason the sticker even needs to be on there in the first place given that a larger product sticker is on the plastic wrap.

I have tried various methods of removal, including heat gun and special sticker removal solvent. Even that doesn't make it much easier after its 15-minute soak time and has to be applied several times. Leaving the sticker on is obviously not desirable for aesthetic reasons. Removing the paper and leaving the glue residue behind is also not great as dust (and perhaps small bugs) will get caught on it over time.

Ikea, surely you have access to a better glue for this and other products. Or please at least sell a solvent made for this stuff to keep your customers from calling the suicide hotline over this. I installed 11 of these...
