Review: After watching the videos, we had built our table and installed it in our kitchen dining nook. The only thing we had to do was install taller glides to the bottoms of the table legs to make it 1/2 inch taller for our chairs to fit.

Review: This table is perfect for the size of our 9 x 8 foot dining area. It can comfortably fit 6 adults and the surface size is wide enough to fit serving dishes in the middle. Some small tables can only fit the place settings. The assembly could be better if the instructions expanded the assembly of the slide.
We didn't know the preassembled plastic slide in the main groove could move. This hindered the assembly as we had to go back a couple steps to rectify the situation. Other than that, the process went quite smoothly.
The table performs beautifully as we use both sizes of the table. The small version for everyday use and expanded version for crafts and entertaining.

Review: I needed a table that could seat six and be 3x5' or smaller. This table did that. The fact that it expands and can easily seat eight was a bonus. It's a very sturdy table and easily expands. I did experience a problem with assembly. The corners have what I'll call a metal brace that attaches to two sides of the table. Each side of the brace has two protrusions that fit into holes. The holes seemed to be a bit off alignment and I had to use a hammer to get the brace to fit in them. I'm pretty sure using a hammer isn't in the design of the product! But that wasn't the real problem. At the very end of assembly I pulled the expansion out and dropped the expansion leaf in place, but it was catching and it would lie flat. On the bottom of the expansion piece are two small wood blocks. These were catching on the frame of the table. I watched several YouTube videos and couldn't find anything I'd done wrong. Then I read the comments on those videos and there were several comments describing the exact problem I'd had. I took my trusty hammer again and hit on the inside of the table from where the two blocks were hitting. I did that several times and the expansion leaf finally dropped into place. FYI, I called customer service and they were of no assistance.

Review: The table is solid the only issue is everything doesn’t line up 100% so the extra leaf doesn’t go in without having to hit it down. We have tried to disassemble everything and reassemble everything and it’s about an inch or so off causing the issue. Other then that the table is great just wish our store would get the chairs in stock.

Review: I originally went to IKEA for the smaller table because I was on a budget and family was coming over And IKEA is the best place to go for that! When we arrived, I sat at the table and realized, sitting more than 4 people would be a nightmare. So we looked around the Burbank location looking for the perfect table. And this one was on the list! Unfortunately, we had to race to Covina to pick it up. We’ve loved it and used it every day! We kept it permanently extended out to fill the space in our dining area. But love having the option to condense it if we need the space!
