During the off-season, store the box filled with cushions in a cool dry place indoors.
The storage box is light in weight, so you may need to fill it to keep it from moving around in the wind.
For example, the storage box can be filled with 3 seat cushions and 3 back cushions for outdoor sofas and 4 decorative cushions.

Review: Perfect size and material for storing pool toys! Unlike indoor storage boxes (eg Skubb), it’s thicker and lined to help keep water out. Ideal on covered patio or screened porch. Common sense, people: It’s NOT designed for year-round use (per the instructions) or long-term open exposure to elements. I’m in FL. Have been throwing toys in a heap inside screen porch for a couple years. Not willing to spend $200+ for a plastic deck box. This was easy to assemble. It’s is sturdy enough for the job, but is lightweight and a little bendy. Not flimsy, in my opinion, if you bear in mind it’s designed much like a tent: fabric stretched over poles to give it structure. For me, that’s a plus. Makes it easy to move around/break down for storage/moving. In the off season I’ll put it in the mud room to keep everything clean and dry. Love the shape. It’s narrow enough to fit perfectly behind the porch sofa, thereby using up previously wasted space. Designs like this is why I love ikea!

Review: I took this back to the store and owned that perhaps I failed in putting this together but the last 3 poles are just too long for this container. The employees took it back and attempted to put it together and could not do so. They even pulled another off the floor and attempted to but that one together and the last 3 poles would not fit. They said there must have been an error in cutting of the poles. I offered to just trade it for the floor model but they refused. So I had to accept store credit. Which was too bad because this container would have been perfect had it been able to be assembled.

Review: I bought this in the winter and have used it since the spring. After every rain storm the cushions inside the storage unit are damp and there is moisture inside on the bottom. The wind also knocks it around and blows it off our deck even though it’s full of cushions. Pretty disappointed but can’t find much else that has this shape as it’s a space saver being so vertical. I keep my cushions wrapped in plastic garbage bags to keep them dry.
