Review: Pallra drawer unit disappointed me. I recently outfitted my sewing room/office with everything Kallax from IKEA. I was very happy with the shelving units and all the accessories except the Pallra unit. I chose to try the pallra unit because of the three drawers, the other drawer units were only two drawer. Upon opening the wrapper I was disappointed in the texture of the material for I believed that it was not going to be durable. The drawers were difficult to slide in and out. The unit did not fit the whole space of a Kallax cube. I gave it a 2 star because for a cardboard unit it was well constructed. If one needs a free standing three drawer unit this would be okay if doesn't mind using two hands to open one drawer.

Review: I love the Pallra chests, and these new ones are better than ever. You can use these for anything. I bought four of the old design years ago and use them until they literally fell apart, they got SO much use. The new design corrects all of the parts that wore out first, so I can tell these will last for years. The hole in the front looks sturdy and helps allow airflow that makes the drawers slide open very easily, and the touch of silver on the ring makes it look very elegant for such a simple object.
