Review: This is a potentially great light that is marred by a buzzing sound from the LED when the dimmer is used. The more you use the dimmer to attenuate the light, the louder the buzzing sound. This type of problem is common with dimmers that aren't designed with LED bulbs in mind. I can only assume that this light was originally designed for a non-LED bulb and the manufacturer or IKEA decided to switch it to an LED. This might not be a problem for all users if you are far enough away, but it's extremely annoying as a reading light in a quiet room. If this light had a better dimmer circuit it would be five stars.

Review: Not a bad product, I would give it a 5 star, IF it came with the required bulbs! We drove over 150 miles to go to IKEA, got a bedroom set, desk and these lights. Only to get home and see they didn't come with bulbs! And for the price of these, not a deal at all.

Review: We are having the same problem with this light as in a previous review. Purchased over 180 days ago, but less than a year. It would be nice if ikea would refund as we have two of these. One is shorting, the other is ok but now we have to buy two new lamps so they match. And of course after this, we don’t want the same ones. Happy to send a video of what is happening.

Review: I was looking forward to these lamps - I was struggling to find ones that would work for our space and they seemed perfect. Unfortunately, they make an obnoxious buzzing sound that I can't tolerate, so I returned them. When they're turned all the way up, the buzzing is diminished but still there. If you want to use the dimmer function and not have the lights on full blast, the buzzing is quite loud. After some research I learned that it's very common for LED bulbs to buzz when dimmed - bummer.

Review: I love the light but the dimmer stopped working after one year. It now dims from 100% down to 1% on it's own and then back up to 100%. I contacted Ikea for a replacement and they said it's not covered. I find it potentially dangerous when something that alternates the current is failing and Ikea refuses to replace it.

Review: It illuminates quite well. I got them as lights for either side of the bed and they work as expected. The installation was easy but, it does not come with screws/drywall anchors, so make sure to get some of those if you don't have them already. Its nice that they're dimmable but if its turned too low then it will flicker and turn off on its own. Not a big deal for my use, but the reason I don't give it 5 stars.
