The light source has a lifetime of approx. 25,000 hours. This corresponds to about 20 years if the lamp is on for 3 hours per day.

Review: It is a beautiful lamp with a lovely and soothing design when lit. It is lightweight, but very stable on any surface. It fits well with any decor with its classic nature design. The only concern I have is that the specific type of LED light bulb it uses is not available through any source, including IKEA. While I expect the LED bulb it comes with will last a long time, I do hope a replacement bulb will become available when needed
