It looks like a built in and it was actually really easy to put together. I bought extra shelves and didn’t use the hanging bars because I am using it as a linen closet. Opens and closes very easily… it’s great.

It loses a star because I have not found shoe storage products that fit the bottom area. The dimensions of the lower compartments do not accommodate most of the IKEA storage products.

Review: The load bearing capacity of the shelves and hanging rod is very much limited since the vertical panels are all particle boards. Also the mounts that support the shelves are flimsy plastic. So overall the unit is just ok but not sturdy for its price.

Review: I built it exactly according to the instructions, but when I tried to put the doors on they do not line up with the walls (aka there are always small gaps on upper left corner and bottom right). I tried flipping them upside down and switching them to no avail. I also used the crank included, which had no effect (in the photo, the doors both didn’t line up at the top whereas my left door doesn’t line up at the top and my right door doesn’t line up at the bottom). I then used a level on the side walls come to realize they are not straight and the doors cannot shut on either side.
