So this isn't a PH lamp, but I think it encompasses that style. It gives off a gentle glow. You are not hit with a harsh view of the light bulb from any angle.
The shade and base are made of glass, and there are plastic threads to fit them together.
I purchased the Trådfri LED 1000 Im (11W) E26 smart bulb and remote control for it.
With this I am able to select warm, white, or cool lighting, as well as dim/brighten the light.
While a remote and smart bulb is kind of a hassle, without it, the lamp just has a toggle switch on the cord and no way to dim it.
Overall, 10 out of 10, I love my mushroom lamp.
