Review: I’ve been purchasing and building ikea furniture for nearly 20 years. Tables, chairs, lamps, etc but this product got the best of me. All was well till it got to mounting the sides to the rest of the chair. You have to line it up perfectly while having X-ray vision! Pretty sure I stripped the cheap particleboard after it arrived today as I had to screw/unscrew it so many times. Not looking forward to this falling apart on me. Plus, I nicked my hand on some random staple sticking out from the inside through the middle of the side panel fabric? Ikea isn’t what it used to be - quality control and creative construction is sorely lacking now!

Review: Purchased two for a room. Looks great, easy to assemble. Cushions are pretty stiff, although I wasn't expecting plush soft cushions. At first, my back was getting sore after short sessions. Purchased lumbar pillows for added support for longer sitting sessions. With the added lumbar pillow, I now find them comfortable for long periods.

Review: I bought this chair 11 months ago and absolutely loved it. I like the comfortable arm rests, high back and the fabric. However, the wooden beam that connects the back legs to the chair snapped when I sat down one day. I did return it for a replacement ( great customer service). However, after I assembled the new chair and moved it (same day), the same piece snapped off. I do plan on returning the chair tomorrow. I still haven’t decided if I will request a refund or get store credit. But I am very disappointed in the poor craftsmanship. Especially because the price went up $50.00 ( ikea did cover the extra cost). I might have to look elsewhere for another chair for my room.

We do not live close to an IKEA and needed chair to be assembled - husband has access to a machine shop and they Jerry- rigged a part that worked but when reaching out to IKEA for modest compensation the only thing they offered was a replacement part. Not at all satisfied with their customer service or policies. Buyer beware that IKEA leaves you hanging out to dry if there is a problem.

Review: I have no idea how this chair is getting 5 star reviews. Yes, the green fabric is beautiful, but assembly? Something wrong here and yes, it is all over the internet. It's not just us. The side sections are ridiculous to align. One chair took hours (no I am not kidding). Using a highlighter around the pre drilled holes and a pen lite and two able bodied people -- the next chair took days. Only because we walked away and came back to it. If there is availability in your area to get it assembled, do it! It will save you harsh words, tears and total aggravation. Ikea really should fix this issue -- it is posted everywhere about this particular chair. Oh also, lots of loose threads, shady looking stapling to hold down the fabric etc.

Review: After one and half hour of trying multiple attempt to screw the wing to the base. I gave up. it was impossible or no where near to line up the two hole. You better try assemble that on the parking lot before bring it home. It's not that difficult. If it line-up, it should only take less than 30 mins.

Review: I’ve put together other IKEA items. I’ve put together other brands’ furniture pieces. Attaching the wings/sides of the chair is seemingly next to impossible. You’ll have it lined up perfectly you think only to find out it’s still not centered correctly. I bought this a while back and tried putting it together to no avail after about an hour of working (if it would be put together flawlessly, you’d probably spend more time breaking down the boxes) before giving up. I’m on another half hour right now with zero headway pondering chucking it in a dumpster (a bit of hyperbole…I think). Just look up “Strandmon putting together issues” and look at the comments on the video.
