Review: I really love these drawers but I'm confused why they didn't make them the slightest bit wider to accommodate letter sized paper facing forward. I understand the company is European and their paper size is different but they have a very large market in the USA and it seems like the designer would want to take that into consideration when creating the drawer size. I also wish they sold drawers that were a little less deep to use as stand alone units (not with a desk). It is perfect as a desk but stood out from the wall too much when used as stand alone unit.
Otherwise, it is well built considering it isn't solid wood and fairly easy to assemble.

Review: As others said, you must put folders perpendicular to the drawer and install two rods to hang them. But then you have unused space, so I hoped I could put something and use that space... But then I realized I was missing the bottom part for the filing drawer. So I can now just hang folders, and it is bottomless? Not sure if it was omitted by mistake or if new versions don't come up with bottom.

Review: I was really hoping to use this to file my sewing patterns. However, once installed, it wasn't wide enough to hang letter size hanging files. I had to install the metal brackets to hang the files sideways. So disappointing. On top of that, the drawers didn't even open all the way.

Review: Changed colour to match the 6 drawer because this file cabinet strangely enough doesn't come in the same colour... Why Ikea? Went to lowes and was able colour match and looks great. One other flaw Ikea the height is about 1/8 taller than the other Alex 6 drawer. I had to shim the cabinets so they would be even.

Review: I use these drawers to hold materials for scale model building. They fit nicely under my table and have easy pull action. They are a good storage solution for small items if you have many of them, in a small space.
